    What are some of the meanest things you've heard said or said yourself or saw happen?

    When me and a friend were about 14, his mom was in a typically bad mood. And when he said something about "when I get to college", she snapped "you're too stupid to go to college!" I can't remember, but he probably did something really dumb or irresponsible that day that made her even meaner than usual.

    Man, I don't know. My mother could be a pretty big bunt but nothing stands out right now.

    I was a kid and captured a rat in Mississippi. Wanted to keep it for a pet. My grandfather, born in the 19th Century and lived in Mississippi all his life could not countenance such foolishness and told me I wouldn't amount to a hill of beans. IDK exactly the etiology of that expression but I understood it to mean I would always be worthless.

    Y'know kids retain these things forever.
