    A bit before my time, but did anyone ever watch Lou Grant? Interesting how a sixty minute drama series could be spun off from a thirty minute sitcom.

    Yep. He was a whole different character. Nancy Marchand who played the blue blood owner, Mrs. Pynchon, was also Livia Soprano. Talk about 180°!
