Not that I know of. About the only time "my" music is playing around others is when they're in my car and that's a "like it or lump it" situation for them 'cause I'm the captain and I control the music.

My dad HAAAATES Michael Jackson, always has. And nobody in my family gets why I like David Bowie, and my mother can't understand the Thompson Twins.

My brothers. I don't play music in the house if one is visiting. But in the car. . . tough.

Well, I am partial to the classics, Santana, Led Zeppelin, The Doors but I don't even have a sound system other than my computer speakers so I don't play music often. (Zep needs a good sound system that gets complaints from the neighbors - in the next block).
However, I can appreciate all kinds of music (Except that shit Yoko did once). Was raised on Country/Western, like traditional blues, classic jazz, Middle Eastern and Classical Symphonic Orchestra.
Since I don't have a venue to play music IDK who appreciates it or not.
BTW, when my grandson was a teen he was into this contemporary band that had a somewhat familiar sound. I burned him a copy of Led Zeppelin Early Years and he liked it. Like I say, it is Classic.

No, everyone I know/close with likes r&b/hip hop.
It's the opposite, I have a few close family members who like heavy rock/heavy metal type shit. I can't stand when they play it.
