'Male Bashing' in the media

What's your opinion on 'Male bashing' in the media (i.e., women on television, in film, or in music – making cynical, negative and judgmental pronouncements about men.) Does it bother you? Do you see it as being sexist/hypocritical?

No because you still see a LOT of woman bashing in the media, it's just not as blatantly obvious as when men are the butt of the joke.

Not really. Sometimes it's warranted but I'm not above defending my gender against some bitching.

I do feel that there is a double standard in the media and yes, I do think it's sexist.

I just think its funny.

"I'm a humper. I'll hump anything, I'll hump the cat, pillows, the table, fire hydrants. Whatever. I want to hump everything I see. Yesterday, my owner had just gotten out of the shower and bent down to dry her toes and I couldn't help myself and hopped on her back and started humping away.

The Boxer and Lab exchanged a sad glance and said, "So, lethal injection for you too, huh?"

No, No, the Doberman said. "I'm here to get my nails clipped."

Doesn't bother me, just the same way female bashing doesn't bother me. I understand that the majority of the time, the person doing the bashing has been hurt to the point where they can't do anything but lash out. And if I don't fit the description, then there's no point in getting riled up. Hell, even if I DO fit the description, if I'm comfortable with it then there's always someone who will deal with it.

It is hypocritical, but honestly I don't care that much. Just a bunch of pigeons extolling their frustrations for not being able to hold on to a man of have one that keeps them satisfied. Cluck away....
