    I'm surprised NOM hasn't come up with this idea. If they want to so passionately "protect" marriage it seems they would. But the marriage defenders are shockingly silent on this.

    Depends. Every couples marriage has its own "sanctity". The bottom line is that marriage shouldn't feel like a sentence. Once it does, then screw the sanctity.
