    BUENA PARK (KTLA) -- A Buena Park man is due in court Thursday in connection with the murder of his friend because he allegedly wanted to have sex with him.

    Edgar Salvador Lucio Zamudio, 22, is accused of murdering Ricardo Rios, 47, in a converted garage at a home on the 5900 block of Marshall Avenue last week.

    According to the Orange County District Attorney's office, Lucio Zamudio was visiting Rios in his garage late last Tuesday night when they got into a fight after Rios asked Zamudio to have sex.

    Rios allegedly threw a cement block at Zamudios car before he retaliated by beating Rios and fleeing the scene.

    Rios was found suffering form a broken jaw, nose, orbital bone and several ribs.

    His body was found after police conducted a welfare check the next morning

    Zamudio turned himself in the next day and was later booked on suspicion of murder.

    He is being held on $1 million bail and faces 25 years to life if convicted.

    Crazy. Rios couldn't handle rejection very well I take it? Zamudio didn't have to beat him to death though.

    I'm trying to figure out what led a 22 and 47 year old to become "friends" in the first place. Methinks something probably already happened and the victim won't up dying when he wanted more from the angst-ridden perp.
