What names have you given to your pets?

Dog (no lie, it was so confused), Rainy, Pretty Kitty, Meowzebub, Tugger, Cleo, Pete

Our dog has a collection of names! His name is Shift. But that led to Shift-a-Roo so now he answers to "Shift" and "Roo" and all our other "Roo" adaptions which include "Roozadoozile," "Roodadunk," and "Roozie."

Most friends now call him "Roo" as do we. At home, we are 50/50 with "Shift" and "Roo."

No wonder the psycho little bastard shits in the upstairs hall every few months. I would too.

    ROFLMAO! ur freakin nutz! LOL

well "Dog" was a poodle who we got when i was 4yrs old. His name in the pound was Sinbad. I wanted to call him Pluto, my brother Goofy. My sisters were teens, and called him "Mutt, Dog, and Hey You". One of my bros in law called him "Shit head".

Eventually the dog just responded to Mutt or Dog lol --- and he used to shit upstairs too!

The best dog name story from my family is a true reflection of my parents' love of Chihuahuas.

Mom had a very high risk pregnancy becaue of her health. She was about to deliver me and Dad came home with a tiny ass Chi. Mom was so mad about it but Dad had to bring her home because she was being abused by a co-worker disliking her barking at night. So Mom agreed to let her stay despite being very pregnant with me.

Well, I came home from the hospital and that tiny Chi laid by my crib and protected me non-stop. So, she was "Tisha" but became "Goofy" and I was about eight when we had to put Goofy down.

If I had a chihuahua I think I'd name it Taco (for Taco Bell). . . Don't think I'd be able to resist it.

In the past 40 years we have had nothing but cats after the last dog had to be euthanized. We had Morris (named by our son) then we had Sheba (named by someone other than ourselves) but simply called Cat. Then the cat in my avatar was Fancy. We lost her almost a year ago and I am still missing her. Now we have a feisty young cat named Squeak, because she does. We don't come up with terribly original names, except for Morris all of the other 3 came to us as adults and 2 of them came with names we didn't like. So Sheba became cat or kitty, and Princess became Fancy. Squeak came from then animal shelter here and had been a stray. All of the last 4 cats have been strictly indoor cats and so most lived good long lives except my sweet Fancy who left us much too soon at only 11 years old.

    This is "Mouse."

I sometimes called him "Snake Poop" just as a reminder that his life in a big terrarium was not so bad.
