I've been paid for a few published magazine articles and fotos. If not the writing, the fotos were a tangible item.

Yep. I used to make these plastic key chain ornaments that I would sell to my classmates for a dollar. I could make designs and patterns that no one else could, so they paid me to do it. I used to clean up on that hustle.

Yes, from my pencil drawings back in the earlier-70's. I was a starving artist but was busy. Now, I don't do it at all.
