Just enough. ONE is a vey manageable number and makes buying gifts much more affordable.

I have many good friends but the downside is most are not local. I would love to meet one or two in my area with similar interests to hang out with. My good friends in town all have younger kids and it is difficult for them to budget time for non-kid things.

I have a lot of friends but few close friends, and I'd say I have enough. Not one of those who needs many close buddies, nor do I need to see them real often. One let and moved to California and I sure miss her.
