You're the best my friend. The Chamber wouldn't be the Chamber without you.
Just to tell the story again (gather 'round children.)
There was another Conversation Chamber that predated this one by like a week or so; but it was very simple looking, had really basic features and I wasn't satisfied with it. Early on Saturday morning (January 30, 2010), while reading up on ways to improve forum traffic, I stumbled across this forum host and saw how much better it was. So I decided to move us here. I spent all day trying to set it up and familiarize myself with how it worked. It seemed complicated at first and I didn't want to invite people here until I had a handle on it. Then after I figured it out (and got the sections created and icons/smiley's all set up), I started registering accounts for those who had been at that other Chamber. I was so leery about not wanting anyone who'd been there to have to go through the trouble of registering here that I did it for them and just sent out emails to people, hoping that they'd get it and show up.
In a haste, I set up accounts for Marc, Tony, CatEyes, Robbie, Atown, Impact and the few other people who'd been at the previous Chamber. This was like at 11:50 pm, that's why some of your accounts say '1/30/2010' and others say '1/31.' They were all created within minutes of each other, just some narrowly got in before midnight.
Tony had been such an friendly/enthusiastic poster at the other board for that week or so it existed and graciously accepted the invite to follow us over here. The rest is history.
