Lived in a play marriage with a woman for 6 months but it ended with door slamming, stomping down the street arguments - so never considered it.
I actually did propose to my first GF when I was young and foolish.
Fortunately, she did not want to get married to an American GI and run off to another country. Whew!!!

No. The closest I've ever been to being with a guy who was marriage material is my current BF, but we live together so that's close enough.
