'Agree or Disagree'

This is a little game similar to the WYOO thread, but a little more scaled back. All you have to do is make a statement that you heavily believe in, such as 'I believe that Animal testing in wrong because so many cute little animals are killed.' The person below then says whether they agree or disagree (you can state why if you want to, although it isn't necessary) then they post up a statement that they believe in for the person below them to agree or disagree with. Right, so let's begin.

I believe that the television rating system (TVG, TV PG, TV-14, TV-MA, etc.,etc.) is an annoying add on that should cease.

Mmmmmmm...I'm going to say disagree, gotta love their Halloween episodes.

If the law's going to prevent anyone under 21 from legally purchasing or consuming alcohol because of a (somewhere) connection to drunk driving related deaths in 'immature' and 'not responsible enough yet' minors, then another law needs to be passed banning anyone under 21 from texting since reports are now saying texting and driving is more dangerous than drinking and driving.

Disagree. Texting is not dangerous in and of itself. Someone doesn't have to be behind the wheel for alcohol to fuck them up.

I think churches that attempt to get involved with politics should lose their tax-exempt status.

OT: You'd be surprised, there was a report about a 15 year old girl that fell down a man hole because she was texting and didn't bother to look where she was going.

But again, that's human error. The vast majority of people who text don't wind up in idiotic-could-have-been-avoided catastrophes.

I think there should be more restrictions on who gets put on welfare/foodstamps. Too many people are abusing the system.

I think food today has way too much salt in it. With what we know about how bad it is for you, I would think they'd simply put less in food. Food tastes too salty anyway so it would likely taste better without it many times.

Richy rich food(like caviar or the like) is overrated. Give me the cheap stuff that tastes good over the food that costs as much as a TV and tastes like dirt.

Ehhhhhh, I guess I agree to a point. I do think cable has stuff to offer but the crap cable shows getting all the attention and people making this big deal about it has made the TV industry worse I guess.

Agree. Political camgaign contrabutions beyond a certain amount is not freedom of expression but an attempt to buy influence for special interest groups and should be prohibited even if it means an amendment to the U.S. Constitution

Disagree. If we're going to go into another Depression, I think it's inevitable given how much damage would have to be done for it to happen in the first place.

And I seem to recall Obama said unemployment would never go past 8% and it went to 10%.

People should know as much about what's going on in their own community than about who the celebrity of the day is bonking. Agree or disagree
