Mine is Rear Window, in my opinion it's better than even Psycho. Although the original The Man Who Knew Too Much with Peter Lorre, that was pretty good too, so I'd call that a close second.

This is a great thread, I love Hitchcock! I would have to say it's a three-way tie between "Rope", "Dial 'M' for Murder" and "Psycho", although I really enjoyed "Rear Window" as well.

I can't say it's my favorite but there's a scene in Torn Curtain where Paul Newman is trying to kill someone. Very intense. I also love what he said when advised that Tallulah Bankhead wasn't wearing underwear during the making of Lifeboat, "I don't know if this is a matter for the costume department, makeup, or hairdressing."
