Halloween

It is getting to the time of the year where it is starting to get cooler, a little darker earlier at night and in the morning and one of my favorite seasons for Films is coming up.


What are your plans? Is there anything you do or plan to do for Halloween this year?

Not really. Some years we take a trip to PA with my in-laws to pick some pumpkins. Yes, we do have plenty of pumpkins here but it makes a nice day trip 'cause we also hit "The World's Largest General Store" on the way back.

Hey that sounds like a lot of fun for a day trip, especially the World's largest General store!!

A friend of mine just invited me over to her place for some Halloween festivities, for kids. That's happening the Saturday before Halloween, so I may just take one of my nieces or nephews. As for actual Halloween, I will be at work.

LOL.

I'm hoping I can score some free tickets to at least one haunted house in the area so my son and I can go.

Just the usual, carve pumpkins, watch the Halloween specials, go up to the mansion for its haunted house thing, and pass out candy to the trick or treaters. I'm psyched though because I've got my Howling Mad Murdock costume all ready to go.

I love Halloween! Hubby decorates the deck for Halloween, giving my witch a prominent spot. and it always looks great.








My witch was made in China and apparently they don't know witches don't have wings. My witch flaps her wings and cackles while her eyes flash at the press of a button. He rigs it up so I can set her off with a wire at the door. I love her to bits. Hubby goes to all that trouble for me because we really don't get a lot of kids.

If I'm feeling nice, I might hand out a Snickers bar or 2 but that's about it.
