Do you move a lot when asleep? Empty Do you move a lot when asleep?

I know I move around in bed when I am asleep mainly because I seem to wake up a lot because I want a drink or am warm and want to turn my pillow over to cool down. I also seem to always have at least one pillow on the floor.

What about you? Do you move around a lot? Have you ever fallen out of bed because of it? If you have a partner does it bother your partner how much you move?

Nope, I wake up to change positions because it is painful. Hubby used to move around a lot but he has slowed down a lot too.Probably for the same reasons.

Yeah, one of the reasons I have always slept by myself.

I have learned that I kick in my sleep and now position my bed with legs away from surrounding furniture. I once kicked a pole lamp over in my sleep - waking up as it fell across my legs. (This was after seeing Paranormal Activity - and it gave me pause as to what threw that lamp over my legs) Since then I have hit my foot on a shelf near my bed and the pain woke me - so now I sleep with my legs well away from anything.

About the only time I ever fell out of bed was one time as a kid, I was pretty much hanging on the edge, suspended only by the sheet, and then the sheet snapped out from the other side of the bed. I do move around a lot and as a kid it was particularly bad.

I think I'm a fairly still and heavy sleeper. When I wake up, sometimes I'm in pain and/or stiff, so I assume I've been in that position for quite a while. I kind of get the feeling once I'm in bed and asleep, that's it, I'm done. I've never fallen out of bed, though I have been hanging off the bed a couple times.

Even old guys sometimes wake up stiff. Always a pleasant sign! Blue Cool

I don't think so. My pillows rarely wind up on the floor. I tend cover my legs with my bathrobe, so sometimes that winds up on the floor, but overall I think I'm a pretty peaceful sleeper.
