not that often but when they do, always in the afternoon when you want to go home.

Hardly ever. At least in the office. Sometimes I have to attend construction meetings. The time and place vary.

And here's a tip. Try not to have any chairs at the meeting. They tend not to last that long if people have to stand.

We have meetings all the time, usually to discuss clients and I am often the one who takes minutes.

Whenever management feels the need to call one. We used to have them often at my old jobs and they would provide food, Pizza Hut, KFC, or whatever.
