Driving my brother nuts with the noisemakers, eating junk food, watching New York, the Twilight Zone, and as is our family New Year's Eve tradition, Ghostbusters 2 and The Blob (1958), and then at midnight if the wind's not blowing too hard (IT IS SNOWING!), we're going to shoot off some of the TNT confetti fireworks.

Going to stay in, watch a video, listen to the noise at midnight from inside my apartment and hope no stray bullets from the stupid asswipes who shoot guns in the air get to me.

We stayed in. I wasn't feeling well, so it was all rather uneventful. Didn't even drink the bottle of cheap champagne I purchased!

Well, a good New Years Eve here. The news only reported one person being hit by a stray bullet and that was only in his shoulder half a foot from his head. Minor injury - but there have bee fatalities in the past.

Went out for dinner with some friends and then went home and spent the rest of the night snuggled
