During a barbecue or a cookout, which of these would you prefer on your plate? Potato salad or potato chips? I say chips, I hate potato salad.

I put both.
Being a vegetarian who has gotten dragged to Bar-B-Qs for family obligations, potato salad (without bacon) is one of the staples that I can eat - hopefully with a green salad.
I also invented the potato chip sandwich as an alternative. Put mayo on a hamburger bun & spread a layer of chips (barbecue is even better than plain). Crush them down and paint on some more mayo - and another layer of crushed chips. Slice of cheese, tomato & leaf of lettuce, more mayo to hold it together and you have a pretty nutritious filling vege sandwich.
