Jody Watley talks candidly about the breakup of Shalamar

TVOne did an Unsung episode about Shalamar; apparently Jody didn't feel like it was totally accurate, so she gave an indepth eight part interview about how abusive, chaotic and volatile being in the group was. Very interesting. Very candid.

Oookay, I have to set aside time to watch that. I never cared for Jody Watley as a solo artist. I actually thought she should've stayed with the group.

It's the opposite for me....Shalamar was before my time, and I find Howard Hewett's voice overbearing and annoying. But late 80s Jody Watley could no wrong.
