Possibly. Some things get lost in a drawer or pushed to the back out of sight and then it's, "Honey, did you get a grade on this science project?" OK, things don't really grow mold and smell but they do exceed their shelf life.

No, I seldom have leftovers unless it is cooking for two days and then I eat it the day planned.

I just checked and there's an old carton of eggs that need thrown out.

There is always something to be thrown out. I usually clean it out once a week.
