Working multiple jobs

Have you ever ever had more than one job at a time? If so, how long did that last and well were you with the juggling?

o wow chris yes ive had mulitple jobs... at 1 point ive had 3 jobs.

at one time i worked 11p-7a sunday thru thursday, an at same time had to work 830-4p mon thru fri sometimes thru 5p. had that for almost a year an half. within that time i worked 3, 1 job 11p-7a, mon, tues wed, 2nd job was 830 to 4p, mon tues wed, 3rd was thurs fri sat. but within that time that only lasted 2/3 months.

I did four years ago when I work at Office Max and Radio Shack for 6 months when I lived by myself. I hated it cause between the 2 jobs I had no life and neither place really wanted to compromise on my schedule for the other so I wound up quitting Radio Shack where I worked first to work at Office Max full time.

Only tried it once as a young man and found I would rather have time to sleep, eat and maybe enjoy myself than put that many hours in for "the man."

I was in the Air Force, stationed in Fort Meade Maryland and got a job at the local McDonald's in the evening. Lasted about two weeks before I realized that free time is very valuable, moreso than money.

When I went to college, I had to work full time, but that did not give me enough money to pay to live and for school, so I had to get a pt job as well. So, I worked four ten hour days at a dental office, went to school, and bartended later evenings a couple times per week.

I also worked at a dental office, 4 days a week from 8 to 6, then Friday from 8 to 12 and I worked at Taco Bell in the wee hours of the night...for about 10 days until I realized that it wasn't worth it.

Yup.

I've done two jobs off and on since I was about 19 and I've handled it quite well. There are times when you get supertired but you can do both and have an active social life and go to school. The key is having gigs that are flexible. If one or the other isn't flexible, then juggling it will be a problem.

Yup - and I still do, though the other jobs are only a few hours a week. I had more hours with one job but there were cutbacks, so I'm down to just 2 or 3 hours and looking for somethign new.

I worked two part time jobs after college, just so I could collect a full 40 hour money per week. Many people I know today are working two jobs because most places are only hiring for part time.

I work two jobs now. One during the week, the second on weekends and on Wednesday's I do double duty.
