    no I think that is weird. But I don't linger, I am good at ending phone conversations promptly but politely. I just say "Okay it was nice talking to you, bye!" lol.

    I have two Russian co-workers who just hang up the fone. Sometimes I don't know they hung up - which is why we really need to say bye. I think it may be a European trait of at least Russky.
