In my long and varied work experience, I have left higher paying jobs for lower paying that gave me more satisfaction in the work.

Happiness for me, as long as I had enough to I've on, pay the bills, set a bit of money aside. Unfortunately, I'm in a low-paying job that I don't really like, so I'm on the look-out for something decent right now!!
