OLTL beat GH again in the Ratings May 9-13 Empty OLTL beat GH again in the Ratings May 9-13

I think this is the fourth week in a row OLTL has beat GH. I wish I could say the improved ratings would lead the reviled Frons & Co. to change their minds about canceling our great OLTL. Instead, I imagine they'll just cancel GH too.

In your face, ABC. I know it won't happen, but what I wouldn't give to see OLTL beat Y&R.

I'm not at all surprised. Even GH's nice time slot isn't helping it out anymore. I've always said if GH had to go up against the 12:00 line up or the 1:00 line up, it wouldn't be as popular but it's had almost no competition for years. They've made some really stupid casting decisions over the years and focusing on glorifying the mob was old a decade ago. Given Maurice and Steve so much control is killing the show. Maurice's tantrums and games were on the level of RH's and Steve wasn't much better, with them admitted they basically phoned it in when they didn't like scenes and would play them in a way that was against what TPTB wanted.

I don't think ABC soaps have a chance of coming in close to Y&R, esp. with Y&R picking up Genie and having Stephen Nichols and Tristan Rogers. They seem to pick up the talent that ABC stupidly discards.

I wonder if any OLTL actors will get a job on Y&R?
