    I was in a local dollar store, and noticed those "energy drinks" at tyhe checkout counters. There seemed to be 5-6 brands and I wonder if these drinks have been analyzed for the presence of harmful drugs or if they have been tested for safety?

    A lot of them come from China I would be very wary of products like these.

    I don't think any of them are safe. How some people get away with drinking many per day, I don't know. But for the cheapies not made here, I would be very leery. Even if they have FDA approval.

    I wonder, were they they standard brands, or knock off labels? I'm not big on energy drinks in general, but I especially wouldn't bother with one that was generic. Who knows how much cheap heroin they added for buzz. lol

    I've tried 5 hour energy once on a long drive and wasn't impressed. No way I would have something made someplace like China.

    I wonder about them, too. Not something I'd want to try! China has shown they car NOTHING for the consumer and don't really care about the harmful side effects of their food. They're on the news yet again for food contamination.
