Do always answer the door?

Are there ever times when your doorbell rings and you don't answer, simply because you're not in the mood?

No but I always look to see who it is first.

I usually look to see who it is first before opening the door.

It's not a matter of being in the mood but if we can see them coming we never answer for Jehovah Witnesses.

Yes. Unless I'm expecting someone specifically, I never answer the door.

Sometimes we don't. One time we got really burnt because of it. Probably will from now on.

yes.. since i work overnight sometimes, everybody knows im asleep during the day so they dont come by unless they know im awake, an they'll usually call or text.. if i get wakin up by some random knock at the door, i wont answer which does happen often... unless my roommates let me know if they expecting somebody, ( direct tv guy, or whatever)

Whatever they're selling I'm not buying. I already contribute to the charities of my choice. I'm not seeking nomination to be one of the lord's frozen chosen. There's a little store down the road that they had to pass to even get to my house if they need a phone. So no. If I don't know them that door is not opening.

Can never be too careful

I always look out the window to see who it is but if it's somebody I don't know or wasn't in the mood to talk to, it wouldn't be out of character for me to not answer.

It is really funny that you ask this because today happened to be about the first time I think I ever did that.

I was busy scrapbooking all day, and doing an online timed thing, and my son's friends kept stopping by. And so, the last two times there was a knock, I ignored it. I know they were his friends because they didn't ring the bell, just knocked. Had the bell actually rang, I would have gotten it.

But, other than today, I have never done that.

I live in an apartment so I don't really get unwanted visitors so I always answer the door. People have to buzz up before they can get in.

Nope. And because I still live at home in my moms basement, I easily ignore the door. If I'm not expecting company and if they don't call me, I don't always go check and see who it is.
