Oh little bit of everything. I recently had to take down the 4 5' tall piles behind my door to fit some of them on a new bookshelf and bring some downstairs and I was finding out exactly WHAT I've been stacking up for the last couple of years: Alfred Hitchcock, philosophy, World War history, women's writing, short stories, teenage detective stories, biographies, autobiographies, books about movies, about TV shows, humor books, history of the American Indians, books on mythology and folk lore and folk tales and tall tales and fairy tales, plays, true crime, detective stories, crime stories, spy stories, you name it I probably have it, except romance novels, I can't stand those.

Thats funny that you have them stacked like that. When I was married I had books in every room. My hubby hated it, I even made coffee and end tables from the stacks of book and then put glass tops on them. One of my friends said she saw it on a HGTV design show, but I did it out of practicality! lol

Yeah I thought it was nice like that, my mom sure didn't though. One day I was getting one out of the pile and they all fell down and hit me and my copy of The Rains Came about got the cover torn off! 
, and since then she's been worried that one day I'd be killed by them falling on me, so I guess now she can take a collective sigh of relief because we moved them out and before I got them organized on the shelves there was pretty much no room to walk from the door to the bed.
