    What the heck kind of an introduction was that for Baz? He leers at Starr, then steals her iPod so he can upload his own music to it and hounds her for a critique. How dumb! And Tomas's wife is equally as annoying.

    Their introduction is so so awkward and annoying, and seems a bit on the "pointless" side too. These newbie characters don't sync up with Tomas at all. Feels very tacked on and "last minute".

    Agree, what is the point of introducing new characters when the show will end in 7 months.

    Now is not the time to be introducing new people, agreed. I can't invest in them. And yes these newbies are annoying. Yvette (Tomas's wife) is an irritating busy body, who Blair made a faux-racist comment towards. Tomas himself meanwhile was completely disjointed from the writing. And Baz just sucks. It's like the show wanted him to be this hot young guy and instead he looks somewhat goofy.
