- I try to avoid spoilers like the plague so I was shocked to see Bill as king. I'd heard something about him wearing business suits now but never even saw that coming.

It was an ok opener, but the mystery & intrigue that usually jumps the season off seemed flat. Sookie's being in her outer world when the show began seemed random to me.
I was thrown off by Bill being king too. His interaction with Sookie seemed more restrained than usual....not really a fan of the whole Eric triangle thing.
