Has your music tastes changed much since becoming an adult? Do you like the same type of music (or artists) you did when you were approximately twelve to sixteen years old?

^^Agreed. It's the same, but it's expanded 10x.

As others have remarked, my tastes have expanded. I listen to more 'adult' leaning music than I did when I was a kid, but pretty much everything I liked back then I still do.

My musical tastes has pretty much stayed the same. I will say that I've gotten more into blues over the years. John Lee Hooker is fucking amazing. I've always loved reggae and that's always been my favorite genre, but ironically enough....I wasn't the big Bob Marley fan you see today when I was 15. I grew up on dancehall reggae and everything had to be sped up that way. I just recently got into the roots and dub aspect of reggae around 18. And I love that the most.

I still adore what I did back then, for nostalgia sake, I guess. But even back in my teens, I still adored stuff that was dated, like Richie Valens, and old Aerosmith stuff.

It's not that different really. I dont like all the same artists as I did when I was kid (but for the most part I do) but I still like the same styles & genres, etc.

More or less. I'm more open to hearing things that fall out of my usual tastes, but less tolerant of fluff.

Kind of hard to say. I still basically like the same genres, but don't necessarily care for "today's version of" what I used to like. I liked R&B and Pop music growing up, and Whitney/Janet/Mariah/Madonna/Lil Kim/Bobby Brown/R. Kelly and all them...but I don't really care for what qualifies as "today's" answer (Beyonce/Rihanna/Gaga/Britney/Nicky Minaj/Trey Songz/Chris Brown) to that model.

This is a good point.
Today's counterpoints just don't have the same spark.
