UGH - tried wading through RavenBeauty's column - talk about tooting your own horn!!!!

Someone posted a link to Raven's Beauty's lastest column and I started tryign to read it but got the the point where I began feeling nauseous with the way she was tooting her own horn - "I told you this would happen" or "Remember I said this" or crap like that every couple of lines. Gave up before I was even halfway through the OLTL section and that was after skipping the whole first section. She's so high on herself and really needs to promote herself.

Very true. She knows how to manipulate her words very carefully so that she can either take credit for a development, or claim no responsibility if something she vaguely hinted doesn't happen. Honestly, from what I have observed, her spoilers aren't really 'spoilers.' More like wordplay, exaggerated innuendo and commentary on what's already been reported.

Yeah - she said Trevor would be out well over a year ago and it didn't happen until this month but she's gushing about how she told us so and how her sources told her so. She always words things in a way so that she can change her mind when spoilers don't pan out. She comes off as SOOOO arrogant!

You guys got her number completely. And if she's ever unsure of herself, she goes out of her way to say how nothing can be 100%. Yet when she's right, she pats herself on the back. And she gets mad if people don't believe her yet excuses her way out of failures. I think she might get one or two decent scopes every few months, but beyond that, she's just a columnist gifted with spin.

Raven is an attention whore and her spoilers are simply water down monologues largely based on what was reported on real spoiler sites and what the fans are croaking about at SOC. Several boards don't even allow her spoilers to be posted because of how disingenuous she can be. The way she likes to toot her own horn when what she kinda-sorta hinted at comes true a year later and the way she martyrs herself as being a glutton for abuse is equally pitiful and hilarious.

yeah - ITA TSJToddFan!!! So very true. I know on SOC, she was pretty much worshipped.

^^^^Still is by many, but the skeptics are growing. This move to PP that she did not predict is definitely sending her for a tizzy, I am sure.
