The kids of the 90s should remember this one:
Man I LOVED this show as a kid, every day after school, at 3 o' clock we were in front of the TV watching Wishbone. I hated it SO much when they took it off TV, and a couple years back I found out it was still on PBS on Sunday mornings, but they took it off again before I could get the whole thing taped, luckily most episodes seem to be on Youtube, which I'm grateful for. I loved this show so much, and it was what got me interested in reading Tom Sawyer, A Scandal in Bohemia, Red Badge of Courage, Phantom of the Opera, and The Time Machine.
It's really too bad they don't have anything like this today because Wishbone got a lot of kids interested in reading the classics and from there, Wishbone had several book series, classics, adventures, mysteries, and super adventures/super mysteries; all either doing a condensed version of a classic story or like in the mystery series, referencing a mystery story while having their own story paralleling it.
Here are a few of my favorite episodes:

I doubt that anybody here cares but there was one episode of Wishbone that was banned immediately following its original airing so it hasn't been shown on TV in well over 10 years. It FINALLY got put up on Youtube so anybody who's interested, watch it now before it disappears!
