Is there something special in the way you talk in your region of the country that you do not thing is said in other areas? maybe the accent, or words you use, or phrases?

In southern jersey we say "goin DOWN the shore" not "goin TO the shore"

"gonna wawk the dawg when i get back from the mawl" instead of "gonna walk the dog when I get back from the mall"

"d' jeet?" for "did you eat?" "no jew?" for "no did you?"

We end a lot of comments with "eh". As in, "It sure was hot today, eh?"

Kinda hard to know what sayings are unique to Michigan. I think we tend to say 'All good' and 'Alright, bet' a lot. I have a friend who moved to DC, and he told me they say 'What up Joe!'
