    What is something you plan to get in the near future that is just for yourself, something to splurge on for just you?

    I collect comics and am looking into getting this in the fall: Mad money - splurging on yourself 51MMQ6T7GNL._BO2,204,203,200_PIsitb-sticker-arrow-click,TopRight,35,-76_AA300_SH20_OU01_

    I loved the cartoon in Disney's Halloween Treat and found out when they did the cartoon in the 50s they were also releasing a comic book of it, and they had to lengthen it out to 46 pages but the extra material was deemed too dark for the cartoon so it was originally cut. So I'm going to get this and see if it has the extra segments in it.

    There's a point to that. More and more people coming up with tattoos and even though there usually aren't any words to them, I feel like Robert Mitchum in Cape Fear, "Sheesh, I don't know whether to look at him or read him!"

    I don't splurge on spendy things anymore but I do buy music, and in a few months I'll make my annual trip to the music store in SE Portland to buy a big stack of cds.

    I guess buying myself a 4-day cruise just to get away after my B'day is a splurge. But the massage I got while on that cruise was even more of a splurge for me.
