Who saw this movie? I remember when it first came out, my brother was into the movies by that time and I remember on HBO them showing preview clips, the one I remember was Laurie's son telling her "Michael Myers is Dead", but this was actually one of the LAST Halloween movies I saw; not only did I go in the chronological order but it was some years after I had seen 4 and 5 and 6 that I actually bothered renting this one, backed up with that awful Resurrection movie.

I personally was not impressed and it wasn't one I rented much more than once. It SHOULD have ended with Laurie decapitating him, they should NOT have done another one and it was somebody else wearing the mask, no, they should've ended the series then and there before it got any worse.

I saw it on cable. I didn't think it was that great, honestly. I respect Jamie Lee Curtis for being sincere enough to acknowledge that the series is what put her on the map as an actress, but this movie pretty much proved that she had outgrew the character. Then add Josh Hartnet playing her teenaged son, and it just came off like too much of a TV movie.

Indeeeeeed, and it's full of characters who aren't important in any way and we can't even figure out WHY the hell they're there. NOT the way to do a good movie, in Halloween we have very important characters, Dr. Loomis, Laurie, her friends, the kids they're babysitting, the sheriff, people who matter to the story, NOT the case here.

Wasn't that the one with LL? I saw it but barely remember the details. I'm not that big a fan of the series to be honest.

I went to the movies and saw that one. Wasn't impressed. I did like the ending though.
