Do you or anyone you know listen to AM radio? I got in my mothers car yesterday and was surprised that she had her radio tuned to an AM frequency. I had to wag my finger at her for that.

Beats the hell out of me. Last time I flipped through it, all I got is static-filled talk and golden oldies. I'm surprised that there stations out there that broadcast from it.

The last time I was forced to listen to AM radio was in the late '80s in my old 69 VW that I got around to my modeling gigs.
While travelling I would try to get something to listen to and talk, either in English or Spanish was all there was. Oh, and some Reggae station. I don't particularly like Reggae but that is what I listened to.

Rents listen to talk radio on it. That's about the only use we got for it.

For the most part, I think it primarily exists for talk radio today.

Even though everything on AM would probably sound better on FM. lol Or iPod. 
The net might finally be what fades AM radio out since people can listen to talk online.
