What do you think about people who push their pets in strollers? Would you ever do it?

It's not for me. All my animals have 4 perfectly good legs. But I understand that for some people a pet is a substitute child because they either can't or have decided to not have children. So I can't fault them for it. It's their business & their money.

Compensating for the baby they wish they had. It's as sad as it is weird.

For probably 98% of dogs it is not fair...they would much rather walk. But some very tiny dogs, maybe it is practical if the owner is always somewhere walking and the little one can't take it.
