To a poor, defenseless cashier or sales person? No, but I been to one who's been rude, being a jerk to me first.

No, but I have persisted in demanding answers even when it was obvious that they didn't have any. I guess some might consider that "rude," but I consider it real. They're there to offer customers service, not window dress or float.

If the person is just doing their job, they’re not going to have a problem with me. I’m not going to blame them if they’re just following store policy about something like not giving me a refund without a receipt. If they’re talking on their cell phone, etc, instead of talking care of me, the customer…then I speak to a manager. I've been known to let the boss know when someone treated me very well too.

Nobody's ever accused me of being a rude customer. If the service is bad enough to make me mad I'll just never shop there again.
