| On a day when there's no traffic, and the weather conditions are clear, my drive to and from work is less than ten minutes (the only downside is that I live in business community, and sometimes the traffic gets backed up.) I could probably walk there in twenty to twenty-five minutes. If your job (or school) were/is close enough to your house, would you always insist on driving? | |

| If my job was in walking distance and I could get there in reasonable time with walking, I'd definitely walk. No problem. | |

| I didn't buy a car so I could walk to and from destinations. I will always drive. | |

I'd probably walk if I lived right across the street from my job. But nope, I wouldn't walk even if it was only a few blocks. I'd drive.

About three miles. That's about as far as I'd be willing to go. I'm capable of going a lot further but I don't want to need a shower when I get to work.

I bike six miles in the Florida heat and humidity and arrive at work drenched in sweat. Change into dry clothes without showering. I work in an office and have never had any complaints about smell for over a decade. Eccrine sweat from exertion is mostly salt water and has no odor.

I'm not worried about smelling but I'll revise my statement. I wouldn't want to have to change clothes when I get to work. I use a messenger bag that doesn't have enough room for a change of clothes so I'm not going to carry anything extra.
