On the surface "Love Crime" looks more like a boss from hell office and seduction flick, but somewhere around the end of the first reel, we begin to feel a Hitchcockian thriller coming on. A diabolical, spiteful, psychological game of cat and mouse. And what a ride it is.
Christine (Kristin Scott Thomas) is a VP and her assistant is Isabelle (Ludivine Sagnier), who enjoys not only flirting and teasing her, but taking credit for her ideas. Eventually, Isabelle's desires to service her boss, turns into something more like sinister service. What follows for the next 40 minutes are many twist and turns, with an ending right from the script of "The Master"
You will spoil a good time if you try to justify the absurd plot and plot-holes. At the end of the day it worked for me.

Unfortunately, the director Alain Corneau died shortly after the film was completed.
