depends on the school. my public school was fantastic! better than the private school my mom had me in!

I wouldn't send them to public school if I was poor either.

Most likely. Since wealth would give me more options, if I were exceptionally wealthy, I would scrutinize the public school system with a finer tooth comb before I agreed to send my child there.
