    50 people attending? Are they SURE all they're doing is Bible study? Our neighbors do that but I think they only get like 10 people if that many.

    They were probably cited for not having a Home Occupation Permit by their city, and such ordinances can be very anal, and "parking" is one of the largest concerns. Chances are that classes for such a large amount would never be permitted, and someone in the neighborhood likely called the city to complain about the parking issue.

    They violated a city ordinance. Period.

    Let them take it to the SCOTUS. They're gonna tell them to pay for the damn permit too.

    I agree with CeCe. Someone most likely complained and the powers that be had to act on it. They should have just gotten a license in the first place.

    Instead, she said the city fined the Fromms for transforming a residential area into a place where people regularly assemble.

    As long as the city would have done the same to someone regularly holding bingo games, Tupperware parties, etc., I don't see the problem.
