    Keeping in line with the thread of 'are you always honest with your doctor?', when he tells you to do something, change you diet, cut out this, try these pills, try these kinds of exercises, etc., whatever, do you always follow his advice or is it kind of pick and choose? This is why we don't go to the doctor because we know we wouldn't do what they said anyway so why waste the time and money?

    For the most part...yeah. If I have doubts we'll have to talk. The main reason I go is because I need certain meds I can't get without a prescription, like the thyroid med.

    I seldom take meds prescribed by doctors, unless it is one that has a history of beinf effective with me. I have tried some that were pure poison and after the first pill started the weaning process (prednisone) and did not take most of it.

    Unfortunately, my current doc on my health plan is in internist, who deals in meds, most of which I do not agree with. I need an general practitioner but they are unavailable any more.

    Hell no. Can't trust them anymore. I'm better off hitting up Web MD sometimes.

    LOL true....but at least I don't have to wait eons to get an appointment and sit in a waiting room for 30 minutes for the doc to tell me the same info!
