Yes, though nobody I knew because he was killed about 20 years before I was born.

Yes, a first cousin was murdered in South Louisiana, about 5 miles from where I was living at the time. Stabbed by a crazy biker in an argument on the highway. I didn't know about it until later thru family.

There's a mystery surrounding the death of one of my uncles. The official word was that he died of a drug overdose, but there are rumors that he was killed.
