Sales are ok, I'm not that much of a shopper to go to a place just cuz of their sales, I shop when I need something, and if there happens to be a sale going on at the time, great! And no, I've never set my alarm to "beat the rush", I've never shopped day after thanksgiving/christmas.

I think all that "Doorbusters" stuff is nothing but gimmick to get shoppers into the stores. I tried it once, and found that the item I went in for was conveniently sold out, and gee, the store had just opened, so how could it have sold out while the place was still closed???
Now, I do all my shopping early, when I have coupons or there's sales at other times of the year, and I always sign up to go to work on Black Friday so I can go hide in the blood bank and be oblivious to the rest of the nutty-ass world on that day.

Sales are nice but I'm not going to be lined up outside waiting for the doors to open. And no way in hell am I doing that pushing & shoving crap.

I am less and less of a "door buster" type shopper. With the Internet, the sales do repeat even if I have to wait a while.
