I've done it a few times if it's a re-mastered version. Plus, I've bought things on cd or digitally if I only had the vinyl version.

VERY rarely, if ever. This is a MAJOR pet peeve of mine but I typically HATE these re-releases, VERY much so.

If added features just means director's commentary or something like that, then no. It would have to be a completely different version than what I have now.

I baut the initial release of Avatar, knowing it would be upgraded. When they did I got the 3-disc set and gave the original to family.

I don't like to but I have before. Try to resist for the most part but sometimes I am compelled to go ahead and give into the clear ploy to suck out more of my money,.

Don't think so. I've bought cds of vinyl I already owned but only because I wanted to listen to them more.

Sometimes but if I already own it, it depends on what is extra on this new version. I often resist buying it a 2nd time but will if the new feats are seem worth it.
