| Near Year's Eve 1999 going into the new millennium was a big day for us because for the first and only time we were able to go to buildings serving as indoor firework stands and buy fireworks to shoot off that night just like it was the 4th of July. It was a great night and I've always wondered since in the states where fireworks ARE allowed for the 4th of July when it's hot and dry, why shouldn't they also be legal for New Year's Eve when there's snow and ice for the sparks to drop on?
I think they should be instead of just the TNT poppers and guns and champagne bottles, what's everyone else think?

| "They" ban more and more fireworks, and what they sell for legal ones at the stands for the 4th of July are not worth buying.
I'm one of those obnoxious ones who thinks the better fireworks should be reinstated back into legalization. But, then, I love fireworks, and like shooting my own if I have some worthwhile.

| I think here they allow everything except bottle rockets. | |

| Not here either, new Year's Eve of '99 was the only time it happened. But I think it makes more sense in the winter because you don't have the burnt dry grass, high temperatures and burnt dry everything else...in winter you have snow and ice, and what are snow and ice? Hardened water, I would like to think it would be hard for fires to grow in that when the fireworks crash and burn. | |

| They're illegal here in NY. I think certain ones....like M-80's should be illegal....but bottle or pop rockets shouldn't be. I kinda grew out of the the fireworks phase, but I did love them when I was a kid. | |

| I don't know about fireworks per sé, but they shot off guns here on after midnight on New Years. | |

| They're pretty much illegal here. We shoot them anyway. Or guns. | |
