    Have you ever been romantically involved with someone who wasn't from the U.S.? If so, did the experience stand out from the people you usually date?

    No. I was "courted" by many guys from the Azores (there's a large Portuguese community in Central California), and one foreign exchange student from Thailand, but I was fickle and not interested in relationships.

    I've known plenty of people that weren't from here, but I don't think I've been romantically involved with someone who wasn't from the U.S.

    The closest I've come to that is dating a girl whose family wasn't from the US, but she was first generation.
