It's undeniable, yes, people die from being shot, a lot of them are accidents, and a lot of them are senseless murders, and it's all tragic...but to hear some people talk you'd think guns were the #1 killer of people in the world.
HOWEVER, if you go by statistics, in this country you're more likely to die from an accident at home (about 32,500 a year), a car crash (roughly 40,000), by smoking, (435,000), or even from a medical mistake your doctor makes (100,000 at least, 7,000 alone as a result of the doctor's bad handwriting), than you are likely to die from being shot (30,000)...now, some people might choose to ignore those facts and stick to their blind statement that guns kill people, and so long as there's a person pulling the trigger that is true, however it's not as big of a nationwide epidemic massacre as some people would like to believe. So why some people, as if just to prove their anti-gun point, choose to ignore the fact and stick to that old line, it beats the hell out of me. Anybody else got something to add?
