| Hurricanes.
We have hurricane season when they are most likely from June to November. At work, since we house ppl, we need to submit hurricane plans each year with the county disaster agency. It is a part of life here. | |

| Tornadoes, blizzards, we're on a hill so for us specifically flooding is not a worry but for the business section of town, there were days the police station had standing water inside. | |

| Mudslides (quite a number of homes have been destroyed this way).
Flooding.
Ice storms (not to the velocity of other regions but when we do get them it creates a lot of damage).
Earthquake (never had a "big" one here but the possibility of a major is alarmingly possible; our Emergency Management focuses on this the most).
Tsunamis along the coast. | |

| Nothing much more than the typical ice storm that brings down trees & power lines in the winter. The occasional flash flood that is more of an annoyance than threat to life. | |
